Celebrating Survivors with Style: BEA Spotlight on iSurvived and Founder Jeron

At the Bexa Equity Alliance (BEA), we are always looking for impactful partners who align with our mission of equity, access, and advocacy in breast health. This month, we’re proud to shine a light on Jeron, the founder of iSurvived, the first luxury brand created specifically to celebrate and support breast cancer survivors.
I had the pleasure of connecting with Jeron recently, and I was moved by his story, his mission, and the heart behind iSurvived. His brand is more than beautiful leather goods—it’s a movement that celebrates survival, honors the journey of recovery, and fills a much-needed gap in how we show survivors with elegance and meaning.
Turning Pain into Purpose
Jeron shared with me that his inspiration for iSurvived came from his cousin, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and bravely fought her way through treatment and recovery. After her battle, he wanted to gift her something meaningful—something that would acknowledge her strength and survival. But what he found online was disappointing: mass-produced, seasonal items that were only available during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
There was nothing that felt truly special. Nothing honored her journey year-round.
So, Jeron created it himself.
iSurvived was born out of love and determination—a brand that offers elevated, luxury leather accessories made for and inspired by breast cancer survivors. With every product, the message is clear: “You survived. You’re still shining. You deserve to be celebrated.”
A Brand That Goes Beyond October
What stood out to me most about Jeron’s vision is his belief that survivors deserve recognition every day—not just during awareness campaigns in October. He’s right. Survivorship doesn’t disappear when the pink ribbons are packed away. It’s a lifelong journey, and iSurvived gives women something tangible to carry with them—a symbol of strength, resilience, and pride all year long.
Jeron chose to focus on leather goods, not just because they’re beautiful, but because they’re functional and lasting. Unlike jewelry that might only be worn on special occasions, a leather wallet or tote becomes part of someone’s everyday life. It’s a quiet celebration—one they carry everywhere.
Why Partnering with BEA Matters
When I asked Jeron what it meant to partner with BEA, he immediately spoke about the importance of equity and access. He believes in our mission and understands how critical it is to provide early detection and breast exams—especially to communities who have historically been left behind by the healthcare system.
Through this partnership, Jeron is not only sharing his own story, but also helping us raise awareness and funding to support more women through education, screenings, and access to care. Whether it’s through sharing his journey, hosting a Bexa event, or contributing financially, he’s all in. And we’re incredibly grateful.
A Message to Our Community
Jeron’s story is a powerful reminder that we all have a role to play in the fight for better breast health outcomes. Whether you’re a survivor, a loved one, or someone who wants to support the cause, you can make an impact.
Support survivors by sharing meaningful gifts that celebrate their strength. Learn more about iSurvived and consider supporting their mission—not just by shopping their line, but by helping spread the word. Your gift can uplift someone who’s walked a difficult road and remind them that their journey matters.
And most importantly, take charge of your own health. Know your body, do self-exams, get screened, and speak up when something doesn’t feel right. Early detection saves lives.
At BEA, we believe in turning awareness into action—and Jeron’s story is a beautiful example of just that.

The BEA and Girl Con are two powerhouse organizations that have united on a life-saving mission: bringing early detection breast exams to Bahamian women who need them the most. Through this impactful partnership, we will provide critical Bexa breast exams to 1,000 women in the Bahamas by February 2025—an effort that’s not only raising awareness but is also changing lives. Together, we are making a powerful difference in Grand Bahama, empowering women with access to care that is saving lives.
Both organizations were spotlighted for the incredible work we are doing collectively at the Bahamas Red Cross Society Renaissance Ball, which despite the absence of this major fundraiser for the past 17 years, the ongoing work of The Bahama Red Cross under the leadership of President Edison L. Sumner, has never ceased and continues to provide humanitarian aid for the less fortunate.
The theme was, “The Renaissance - Resilient, Renewed, Recharged,” which embodies the spirit of the Grand Bahama Centre, as well as the people of Grand Bahama. The delightful evening of elegance, excitement, and entertainment reset as Grand Bahama’s premier social event of the year.
